NEXT month Yangon will host a food exhibition aimed at boosting the nation’s foodstuff production industry, a Myanmar Agro-based Foods Processors and Exporters Association (MAPEA) spokesperson said last week.
The three-day event will take place from June 26-28 at the Tatmadaw Hall on U Wisara Rd in Dagon township.
The spokesperson added that the fair is also intended to increase the competitiveness of the industry against overseas competitors.
“The fair aims to show where our industry is at the moment and how individual manufacturers can improve the industry. We also hope to develop contacts and markets outside the nation,” the spokesman said.
